    DM Aircraft Maintenance are the dedicated engineering maintenance provider based in Vienna, Austria providing comprehensive maintenance on the Lauda Europe A320 and Ryanair B737 fleet of aircraft.

    We are currently recruiting for a A320 Powerplant Engineer to join our highly skilled CAMO team. The successful candidate will work with our dedicated team of engineering professionals in Vienna.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide a detailed review of Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives relating to Engines, APUs and Thrust Reversers.
    • Manage implementation programmes of modifications to Engines, APUs, Thrust Reversers and accessory parts.
    • Providing technical support to Maintrol, Base Maintenance and Line Maintenance.
    • Support of Reliability section in the identification and resolution of repetitive failures across the fleet.
    • Liaising with CFM, P&W, Airbus and OEM’s on resolution of reliability and technical issues.
    • Generation of operator documents (MEL Technical Notices, Procedure Notices, Engineering orders, reports etc.).
    • Provide technical support to aircraft lease returns.
    • Accomplish other such duties as may be reasonably directed by Management.

    Requirements

    • Excellent technical knowledge of the CFM56-5 and V2500 engines.
    • Flexible approach with project delivery being a high priority.
    • Must have excellent communication skills, both in-person and by electronic means.
    • Computer literate, with working knowledge of AMOS and Microsoft Software Programs.
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a collaborative team.
    • Strong attention to detail in multi-tasking situations and the ability to deliver results to tight timelines.
    • Fluency in spoken and written English is essential.

    • Perform structural repairs and part replacements on Boeing 737-800 aircraft in compliance with approved maintenance manuals and regulatory standards
    • Carry out metal assembly tasks including cutting, filing, drilling, countersinking, fitting, shimming, adjusting, clamping, bolting, reaming, riveting, and bucking.
    • Operate standard tools and equipment such as bending machines, drills, and grinders.

    • Identify and implement effective repair solutions using the Structural Repair Manual (SRM).

    Life as Cabin Crew is fun & rewarding, it is however a demanding position where safety is our number 1 priority. You will be required to operate both early & late shifts & report for duty as early as 5 am in the morning on the early roster & not return home until midnight on the afternoon roster. If you are not a morning person, then think twice before applying. However, if you are customer-orientated, and like to work in a fast-paced environment with loads of enthusiasm, this could be the career for you!!!!

    Please note: As part of the application process, candidates are required to complete a mandatory English proficiency test and a situational judgment test. Failure to complete these assessments will result in disqualification from progressing to the interview stage.

    Requirements

    • Applicants must hold the unrestricted right to live and work in the EU and / or travel freely throughout the Ryanair Network
    • You must approximately be between 5 „2 (157 cm) and 6“ 2 (188 cm) in height.
    • You must be able to swim 25 meters unaided, and supporting someone else
    • It helps if you are hardworking, flexible and have an outgoing and friendly personality.
    • Adaptable and happy to work a shift roster.
    • Enjoy dealing with the public and have the ability to provide excellent customer service with a ‚can do‘ attitude.
    • Comfortable speaking and writing in English with the ability to successfully pass an English Language Assessment 
    • A passion for travelling and meeting new people.
